Broken is a story that is best read Chronologically to start from the beginning – Prologue
So as I head into Day 4 I am relieved. The weekends are usually the hardest. But I had plenty to do and had a restful and productive weekend. Had an event for the first time in 14 months. It was for one of the kids outdoors on a absolutely stunning day. It was perfect.
All this being said Hailey is parking as close and as prominently as she once did. I haven’t drove past or walked past in days. But when i pull out of the lot at my building I have to look to see oncoming traffic. Trying to turn a blind eye but she is the devil.
I am not getting a hit off it so I don’t think I need to reset. I am still trying to actively avoid it so that is a good thing. Since February we had not gone more than probably 5 days without seeing each other in person.
I surprisingly am not feeling withdrawals on a big scale. Just resisting the urge to drive or walk by is the only time I really feel it.
This week is going to be uber busy thankfully and not so thankfully. Last week of school and I am providing coverage for someone out on vacation. But it comes at an opportune time regarding this experiment.
I wish there was something exciting and sexy to report. But alas there isn’t. As I needed a little recharge time just me and the dog mostly.
Broken 
This may sound silly, but I don’t think you’ve said much about your dog. Is this a dog you had when married, or did you get yourself a dog now that you are single? I am a total dog lover. We have three. A very old husky dog (she just turned 17), and two multipoo puppies (they aren’t really puppies as they are going on 4). Dogs are the best companions ❤

I haven’t because of the plausibility of being identified. my dog is from marriage. But she is my baby. I do bring her back and forth to visit though. I love dogs. My apartment building is full of them. And even Darcey noted that I knew dog’s names but not their owners. 🙂

LOL….I can be like that sometimes too….way more interested in the dog than the human. I’m sure you’ve realized that dogs are a good way to attract women. My husband tells a funny story of the day we went to pick up our first dog together, 20 years ago. He was standing outside of a store, holding the brand new puppy. This was across the street from a college campus. I went inside the store to buy some water for the dog. When I came out…he was SURROUNDED by college coeds. He’s always said if we ever divorce he knows how to find his next wife 🙂

I have yet to use her to pick up chics. Although last week she was a solid wingman and I just blew it. But I am not above anything. LOL!

Personally, if I were single and looking… I wouldn’t date someone who didn’t have a dog. Or, at a minimum, he would need to show a lot of interest in my dogs. But…watching a man with his dog can teach you a lot about him. You get to see how he shows affections, how he handles frustrating situations or pet misbehavior, and you get to see to what degree that dog is a part of his life. Smiles. All important things to learn about someone! 🙂
